this turned out pretty well

this is the running board of an exquisite car at the Palos Verdes Concours. It's not often I try to pull off a good photo of some detail about a car... mostly because out of hundreds of cars you only find a couple that have something worth paying attention to that you haven't noticed before and posted already, but the resemblance to a flying v formation caught my eye.

  1. And let me say Jesse, great pictures. I love these little gems of detail you took. Pure eye candy. You are so luck to have so many great subjects to photograph. Thank you sir.

    1. Thank you! I am lucky to live in So Cal, where so many car shows happen... If I lived in Alaska? Wow, boring. I might be photographing birds, butterflys, and plants. 5 weeks til SEMA!

    3. There is nothing quite like SEMA in my world... it's eye candy left right and center... and there are booth babes, and swag, and the GRC finals, and the Optima Challenge finals... it's pure awesome, on wheels... with booth babes! And Emperor Chuck's latest booth creation, etc. I live for SEMA

    4. I'm envious, but not in a bad way. We never have anything like that on the east coast. Not that I know of anyway.

    5. "There can be only one" awesome event like SEMA, it's the 2nd largest convention in America I've heard. Maybe the only event I can think of that might be as awesome is the Festival of Speed at Goodwood, or the Revival at Goodwood.. but they're in England. If I were you, I'd make plans, long term if necessary, to get to SEMA sometime
