  1. I have seen these in the air over Ramsgate, Kent, (in the UK) when I was still at school and they were filming at the nearby Manston Airport. A rare treat to see WWII dogfights being re-enacted in the same skies that they had taken place. Manston had one of longest and widest runways by the end of the war as, being so close to the Continent, a lot of bombers returning from raids over Germany needed to land as soon as they managed to cross the coast.
