  1. Hmmmm....
Well over 50 years ago, aliens came to our lovely green planet in search of specimens.
Believing the dominant life form to be automobiles, they kidnapped two of them, a '58 Edsel and a '59 Pontiac. Judging them to be of two different sexes, they whisked them back to Tralfamadore (sorry, Kurt) for their "experiments".....what followed couldn't have been pretty....

    1. I was sure I heard a rumor about a special breeding program in Russia, the details weren't pretty. Animal husbandry isn't all it's cracked up to be, I've heard.

    2. At first I thought this was a rebuilt Maltese bus... but your story sounds more plausible

  2. It has a horsecollar grill like my Edsel stationwagon.

  3. I have had a look around for evidence that this is indeed a Skoda as my first thought was that it might have come from Malta though it quite obviously is not a Bedford SB size vehicle which was nearly ubiquitous on the island until the late 20th Century. With that mediteranian feel in mind my next thought with a clue in the Spanish number plate was that it might be a Pegaso, the size would fit into the vehicles they built and google revealed the name of a coachbuilder Juan Ayats who used a plethora of styling queues including the double headlights and Edsel grill along with copious acres of chrome. My money is on the bus being a Pegaso with an Ayats body. I did find a site that suggested that the Spanish registration 3114 FHF belonged to a 2006 Scania P270Db4X2Mna truck but that was free information and I was not prepared to pay the 5 bucks to find out more.

    1. Well, it's certainly an exercise in research if you want to try and prove something isn't what people say it is.. or you can click the link and see what the builders had to say about it http://www.redbull.com/en/music/stories/1331595248325/behind-the-scenes-on-board-the-red-bull-tour-bus
