the Harley Liberator, named after the WW2 bomber, and about 1400 were made so riders would have the most protection possible on cross country rides

  1. Incidentally, 'The Liberator' was what the H-D WLA was called in Europe, for obvious reasons. In Belgium and Holland at least, I've heard fellow motorcyclists today refer to the '45 that way.
