Ford Motor Co. snow plows. Ca.1915

  1. You're right. The machine was built by the Wehr company of Milwaukee and is based off the Fordson tractor. Originally designed as a light road grader.

  2. Ford utilized the same style tractor body to make a prototype "snomobile" in 1929 called the Fordson. It had two screw type cylinders to propel the tractor. It was way cool and I would love to own one!

  3. Look closely at the main beam of the grader and it says H P One Man Grader. I searched one man grader and came up with Hatfield-Penfield. There is one on Desert Classic site. I think H P and Wehr were different companies - maybe?

    1. I did see that, and thought nothing of it. I've seen those Wehr graders, and they are very similar

    2. just looking at the 3 steering type wheels and the badge on the nose tells me it's a Wehr
